The length of the product is only 0.4mm, and the width and height are 0.2mm, which is similar to the width of a human fingerprint.
MLCC capacitors are currently widely used in small electronic devices such as smartphones and have the advantages of small size and stable performance. Samsung’s capacitor not only achieves a capacity of up to 1μF but also increases the withstand voltage to 6.3V.

Compared with the previous 4V withstand voltage, it is more widely used and helps to further reduce the size of electronic products and wearable devices.
In addition, Samsung also stated that this 0402 specification MLCC capacitor has good DC bias characteristics, which avoids the problem that the capacitance of the MLCC will decrease when DC voltage is applied. Officials said that the new products will help applications such as 5G devices and mobile phones with multiple cameras.
