Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 2 will have an IP rating

According to the latest report, Samsung’s next two foldable smartphones will have an IP rating (water- or dust-proof). They are the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 2.

Sammobile reported that these devices will come with dust and water resistance. We are not sure about the exact data or which level it will use. If we look back to the many manufactures.  For instance, most smartphones in the market come with an IP67 rating. This rating means that the device has protection from dust and other foreign objects. In addition, it can work in 1m deep water for 30 minutes. For IP68, it is water-resistant and the depth of immersion increases to 1.5m for most devices.
