Huawei: Chinese mobile phone manufacturers have low profits but the domestic share of profits is only about 10%

At the Huawei Developer Conference, Yang Haisong, vice president of Huawei’s consumer business software department, said today that Chinese mobile phone manufacturers have low profits, and domestic mobile phones have more than half of the market share but only earn about 10% of profits.

He said that in the sales of smartphones, Apple’s market share is 13%, and the profit is 66%, while the market share of China and other manufacturers is as high as 67%, and the profit is only 17%. Huawei’s global sales revenue in 2020 will be 891.4 billion yuan, and consumer business revenue will be 482.9 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 3.3%.
