IDC research analyst Anuroopa Nataraj said: “Although vaccine promotion and corporate return to the office may slow down the trend of working from home, we are still far from returning to normal working conditions. Therefore, there is a demand for tablets, especially detachable tablets. The computer is expected to last for some time.” IDC pointed out that tablets are the first choice in the education market, but Chromebooks are struggling to catch up in markets such as the United States, Western Europe, and Japan.

Although Apple chose not to share the sales of a single product, during the last earnings conference call, the company revealed that iPad revenue increased by 78.7% in the previous fiscal quarter that ended in March, reaching $7.8 billion.

Recently, the company also announced two 11/12.9-inch M1 iPad Pro models, the latter is equipped with a Liquid Retina XDR display based on mini-LED technology. Pre-orders will be opened on Friday, and the estimated delivery time is the second half of the month.
