Microsoft is testing the Bing sidebar image search feature in Edge Dev

Microsoft is testing a new feature in the image search option of the Dev development version of the Edge browser. This new entry in the image context menu only appears in the development version. Some selected users can now select “Search Bing’s pictures in the sidebar” when right-clicking on the picture.

This means that they can search for Bing pictures without leaving the current page, instead of opening them in a new tab like the usual “search for pictures on the web”. Bing Image Search is particularly useful for extracting text from images, and this feature is also available in the sidebar.

Currently, this feature seems to be only available in the development version of the Edge browser, but as mentioned before, not everyone can use it.
