Google is adding a feature to its Chrome password manager that allows users to change a leaked password by clicking a few buttons. If its security check function finds a password that may have been compromised, the information will now include a “change password” button on the support website.
Clicking on this button will automatically take you to the page for changing the website password and will fill in a new suggested security password. Of course, the password will then be stored in Chrome’s password manager.

Google said that this feature is partly provided by its Duplex for the Web technology, which was originally introduced to help complete tasks such as ordering food and buying movie tickets. However, Google stated in its blog post that if you are willing to manually complete certain processes, you can interrupt the process at any time.

Similar features can be found in other password managers, such as Dashlane, which makes it easier for people to update broken passwords and store them safely somewhere, helping people stay safe online, even when the service is broken. Even after the password was leaked.
Google said the feature will be gradually extended to users of the Chrome browser for Android in the United States, but in the “next months,” users will see it more. Google also announced that the password manager will support importing data from other managers and automatically check for leaked passwords.
