AMD officially released the Radeon Adrenaline 21.5.2 driver update today, which provides performance optimizations for the game Once Upon a Time, and also adds support for Microsoft DirectX 12 Agility SDK and Microsoft Shader Model 6.6 Support.
As usual, this driver update also fixes some bugs, fixes the shadow damage problem of the Radeon RX 6000 graphics card when ray tracing is enabled in Cyberpunk 2077, and also fixes the problem of shadow damage when using Record & When the Stream tab and the monitor are being hot-plugged, the Radeon driver crashes. What’s New:
- Using the factory reset option to uninstall or upgrade the Radeon driver may delete the AMD chipset driver folder stored in the same directory as the Radeon driver. (It is recommended that users who wish to perform a factory reset use the latest AMD cleaning tool instead.)
- Radeon RX 6000 graphics cards may experience shadow damage when ray tracing is enabled in Cyberpunk 2077.
- When using HEVC on Radeon RX 5000 series graphics cards or higher, AMD Link will experience intermittent signal loss during the optimization process.
- When the Radeon driver is downloaded or Ryzen Master is started, the buttons may disappear intermittently or Ryzen Master cannot be initialized.
- On RyzenTM Mobile 4000 series and RyzenTM Mobile 5000 series, FPS recording may be incorrect or unable to record.
- When using the Record & Stream tab and the monitor is hot-plugged, the Radeon driver may crash.
