Geekbench revealed Samsung Galaxy M22 specifications

The Geekbench benchmark database just revealed the specifications of the Samsung Galaxy M22 smartphone, but judging from the MediaTek Helio G80 chipset used, it seems to be just the vest of the Galaxy A22 4G (note that it is not the Galaxy A22 5G model). In terms of storage, the Galaxy M22 has 4GB RAM and is pre-installed with the Android 11 mobile operating system.

Recently, Samsung seems to like to mix various vest models into its multiple Galaxy smartphone product lines, and the specifications of the new Galaxy M22 revealed by the Geekbench benchmark database confirm this speculation.

Judging from the running scores of the MediaTek MT6769 chipset (essentially Helio G80 SoC), the Galaxy M22 4G has a single-core score of 374 / multi-core score of 1361. For reference, the Galaxy A22 4G model is 293/1247 points.

It is reported that Helio G80 is equipped with two high-performance cores clocked at 2.0GHz + six energy-saving cores at 1.8GHz. In addition, this special Galaxy M22 4G derivative has 4GB RAM and comes pre-installed with the Android 11 mobile operating system. As the successor of Galaxy M21s (Galaxy M21), Galaxy M22 4G may usher in some major improvements. For example, the performance of the G80 chipset is much better than the former Exynos 9611.

However, Samsung is unlikely to upgrade the camera module for the Galaxy M22 4G. In the end, it is likely to maintain the 64MP rear quad camera (and the 6.4-inch FHD+ resolution AM OLED screen/6000 mAh large-capacity battery) unchanged.
