Apple cooperates with the University of Nevada

Apple is working with the University of Nevada, Reno to develop a plan to provide a common learning platform and provide equal technological opportunities. As part of the “Digital Wolf Pack Program”, all freshmen who will enter school in the fall of 2021 will receive an iPad Air, an Apple Pencil and Apple Smart Keyboard Case for free.

In addition to iPad Air, students will also receive focused training to improve digital literacy and proficiency in productivity, creativity, and communication applications. Freshmen will have the opportunity to use Apple’s application suites, such as Keynote, Pages, Numbers, Swift Playgrounds, etc., as well as customized applications designed to support their experiences on and off-campus.

Apple’s vice president of global developer relations and education said in a statement that Apple is proud of its products and courses being selected by the university. Brian Sandoval, president of the University of Nevada, Reno, said the program will ensure that students “have the same level of innovative technology, digital tools and learning materials anytime, anywhere from the first day on campus to graduation and beyond.”
