Microsoft’s Cortana email newsletter will support French, German and more languages

Microsoft launched an email briefing function for Microsoft 365 in March 2020, based on the technology of the Cortana voice assistant. This feature currently only supports English and is available to business users and Exchange Online users. It can automatically read Outlook inboxes, extract valuable emails from them, and start a day’s work. In addition, this feature can also be set to turn off during working hours to avoid disturbing users.

Today, Microsoft announced that the feature will support French, German, Italian, and Portuguese. It is expected to start rolling out in June and complete by the end of August. Microsoft also said that in the next few quarters, developers also want to further expand this feature to more languages.

After the feature is turned on, users can quickly preview the key information of the mail in the form of information flow on the mobile phone, and add it to the schedule and mark it. This feature can be disabled by Exchange service administrators and corporate administrators.
