Dynamics has released new high-resolution texture packs for Call of Duty: War Zone and Black Ops: Cold War. The texture pack is less than 7GB in size on the console and can be used on Xbox, PS console and PC.

It is officially recommended that the best experience of this texture pack will be a display with a resolution of 1440p and above, so for the console, it is only applicable to Xbox One X, Xbox Series X/S, PS4 Pro and PS5.

This is the fifth texture pack released for Call of Duty Warzone so far. The previous texture pack improved the visual details of the guns and character models in the game. Earlier this month, Raven Software released the fourth season of Call of Duty: War Zone, which added support for the PS5’s 120hz refresh rate. This feature is already available for Xbox Series X games, and the display needs to support HDMI 2.1.

In April of this year, Amos Hodge, the creative director of The War Zone, told attendees at a press conference that Raven is developing a brand new game for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, but no details have been confirmed yet.

Amos said that the next-generation version of the game may include a dedicated field of view (FOV) option similar to the PC version, but it has not confirmed when the feature will be launched.
