Google released Android 12 Beta 3 update for Pixel devices

Android 12 was announced in an Android blog posted on February 18, 2021. A developer preview was released immediately, with two additional ones planned for the following two months. After that, four monthly beta releases are planned, beginning in May, the last one of them reaching platform stability in August, and general availability coming shortly after that.

Android 12 introduces great new features and APIs for developers. For a detailed list of new, modified, and removed APIs, read the API diff report. However, the second developer preview was released on March 17, 2021, this was followed by a third preview on April 21, 2021. The first beta build was then released on May 18, 2021, and was followed by a second on June 9, 2021, while Beta 2.1 was released on June 23.

Now, according to Google’s blog post, Android 12 Beta 3 now live for the pixels users. Beta 3 features the official API Level 31 SDK. “Full” Platform Stability is still scheduled for Beta 4, and will include final app-facing system behaviors and non-SDK interface restrictions.
