Apple says iPhone’s NFC is more secure than Android phones

Apple currently only provides banks and financial institutions with permission to use NFC on the iPhone through Apple Pay and does not allow third-party applications and services to use NFC on the iPhone, which is controversial.

Recently, the Australian Parliament asked Apple to explain the issue of third-party access to the iPhone’s NFC chip. Apple said that the iPhone’s NFC does not support HCE host card emulation and does not want to lose security like Android devices.

Google may have chosen to open NFC because the Android system is used in various hardware devices other than Google, Google has to choose a software-centric solution, so the security is poor. And we have conducted a tight integration between the operating system and the hardware and can provide a fully integrated solution, which is better than Android’s method.

Google has denied the claim that NFC on Android is less secure. Google also said that its Google Pay is the same as Apple Pay in terms of user experience.
