Apple will launch Buy first, pay later installment service in Canada

Apple is cooperating with Affirm to provide Canadian users with Buy Now, Pay Later service, supporting iPhone, iPad and Mac. According to Bloomberg, Apple will launch the program in online and physical retail stores in Canada on August 11.

In the United States, Apple customers can use Apple Card for payment or installment, but they are not available outside the United States, so Apple hopes to provide services to new iPhone, iPad, and Mac buyers in this way.

According to Bloomberg, the service will allow Canadian iPhone, Mac, and iPad buyers to pay for purchases for more than 12 or 24 months, and provide interest-free services for a limited time. Apple’s memo to employees indicates that Canadian users can also use the old-for-new feature in installment services and support Apple Care services.

The memo states that the plan will be supported by PayBright. IT Home understands that PayBright is a buy first and pay later service provider located in Canada, which was acquired by Affirm for more than US$260 million last year. It is worth mentioning that there was news that Apple is planning to launch the Apple Pay Later service.
