Assassin’s Creed Odyssey next-gen comparison XSX has the highest resolution

Ubisoft recently launched a next-generation patch for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, allowing the game to support 60FPS when the next-generation console is backward compatible. ElAnalistaDeBits analyzed the resolution and frame rate performance of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey on PS5/XSX/S.

Xbox Series S: The highest resolution has been increased from 900P to 1080P, and the frame rate of 60FPS is even more stable than XSX. The cutscenes are still 30 frames. It should be pointed out that the highest resolution of this work on Xbox One is 900P. Just like PS4 Pro and Xbox One X, PS5 and XSX use dynamic resolution.

Xbox Series X: The dynamic resolution is 2160P. Due to the high resolution, the frame rate is not too stable. Shadows on XSX have a larger drawing distance. PS5: 1620P, the lower average resolution means that the 60FPS of PS5 is smoother than XSX, the latter part of the scene will drop to 50fps.
