Google is expanding the scope of its artificial intelligence-driven smart reply feature to suggest responses to comments in Google Docs. The new feature will be rolled out to all users in the next few weeks and will be turned on by default, but users can disable it by going to Tools>Preferences>Show Smart Reply Suggestions.
This is the latest territory of Google’s AI smart reply and smart composing functions. The latter is already available in Google Docs and elsewhere, while the former is most common in the Gmail inbox. People have mixed reactions to these functions driven by artificial intelligence. Some people like to use the convenience of the small oral phrases provided by artificial intelligence, especially these simple phrases are very useful in the workplace (for example, This is perfect, thank you!).
There are also literary and artistic youths lamenting their deteriorating effect on language. If artificial intelligence can fill the gaps in your brain in the past, why should you consider what you say to your colleagues?
