Nikon announced discontinuation of COOLPIX B600 camera due to insufficient parts supply

Nikon today announced the discontinuation of the COOLPIX B600 fixed-lens digital camera. The reason for the discontinuation was the uncertainty about the supply of future parts. Nikon also expressed its deep apologies for the inconvenience caused by customers.

This camera is available in red and black colors and is characterized by a 60x optical zoom capability. The product has been suspended from receiving new orders since December 24, 2020, due to the delay in the supply of external parts.

The Nikon COOLPIX B600 digital camera was released in January 2019. The camera is equipped with a 1/2.3-inch back-illuminated CMOS sensor with 16.02 million effective pixels. The lens of this camera is designed with 16 elements in 11 groups, including 4 low-dispersion (ED) lenses and 1 enhanced low-dispersion (ED) lens. It also supports four-axis VR optical image stabilization.

This camera is capable of 1080/60i video shooting, and 120 frames per second high-speed continuous shooting. It provides 20 scene modes and 43 creative modes, and the sensitivity covers IS0 125-6400.
