According to the latest report, Samsung has decided to expand production by 50% due to the hot sales of Samsung’s foldable phones Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3. According to the report, Samsung Display has increased the production capacity of folding panels from 17 million units to 25 million units per year.

Samsung’s Vietnam Bac Ninh plant has launched an expansion plan and will add three production lines, with the goal of full mass production at the end of this year or early next year. The market predicts that after the expansion, the annual output of Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 will be 10 million and 15 million, respectively.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy Z Fold 3 were officially released on August 11, equipped with the Snapdragon 888 processor, and are currently available for purchase in 40 countries or regions around the world. In October, these two devices will go on sale in 130 countries or regions around the world.
