Windows 11 Build 22000.176 released, fix Bluetooth LE pairing and other issues

For Windows Insider project members of Beta and Dev channels, Microsoft has begun to push different Windows 11 versions. A few days ago, Microsoft sent a preview version of Windows 11 Build 22449 to Dev channel users. This is the first Windows 11 preview version from the rs_prerelease branch. Today, the Beta channel has received the Build 22000.176 preview update, mainly to fix BUG.

With the release of Windows 11 approaching, Microsoft began to further differentiate between Beta and Dev channel versions. The Beta channel mainly focuses on the system repair and update of the Windows 11 version, and will not introduce any major new features; while the Dev channel will continue to test various new features, but these new features are no longer bound to a specific feature update, Only when Microsoft considers it mature will it be integrated into the new system.

As for the preview version Build 22000.176 released today for the Beta channel, the main focus is to fix BUG. There is only one interesting change, that is, you cannot right-click the search, task view, widget, and chat icons on the taskbar and cancel them directly. The user must now do this from the taskbar settings options. Without any functionality, this is not surprising, because the operating system is nearly complete and ready to ship to OEMs and qualified users. Here are all the fixes.

Routine Repair

  • Fixed the problem of pairing with Bluetooth LE devices, which caused the increase of Bluetooth reliability and error checking after resuming from a sleep state or after Bluetooth was turned off.
  • Mitigated the problem that caused some users to experience unexpected errors when trying to take photos with certain USB cameras.
  • When setting up Windows Hello in OOBE, Microsoft added a new link to learn more about Windows Hello.

Microsoft Teams Chat

  • Teams settings now allow changes to Arabic and Hebrew.
  • Fixed the problem that if you are making an external call, there is no ringtone, but the user interface will show that the call is being connected.

Microsoft Store

  • Fixed an issue where the install button may not work in limited circumstances.
  • Fixed an issue where ratings and reviews of some apps were unavailable.

As with each version, the company also lists known issues that users must be aware of. Although the list is still long, as the company prepares for the full launch of the operating system, it is expected that these issues will be gradually resolved in the next few versions, which will occur in October. In addition, fixes made as part of the development channel build are also expected to be released on the Beta channel.
