Geekbench again reveals the main specifications of the Galaxy F42 5G

It is rumored that Samsung will launch a new mid-range phone called Galaxy F42 5G (or Galaxy Wide5) in markets such as India sometime this month. Earlier, the Google Play console has exposed part of the device’s specifications and renderings. Now, the Geekbench benchmark database has refreshed the running scores and main specifications of the SM-E426S model.

In fact, as early as late July, Geekbench had already exposed the specifications and running scores of a device code-named SM-E426B. But given that it is very close to the configuration of SM-E426S, we guess that it may only be a derivative version for different market areas.

The device is equipped with the MediaTek MT6833V chipset, which is the Dimensity 700 5G entry SoC based on the 7nm process, supplemented by 6GB RAM, pre-installed and pre-installed with One UI 3.1 software customized based on the Android 11 mobile operating system.

The above specifications are the same as those previously exposed by the Google Play console. In addition, the screen resolution of the Galaxy F42 5G/Galaxy Wide5 is 1080×2009, and there are drop-shaped bangs on the top of the screen reserved for proactive photography, and the chin is slightly thicker.

Finally, 91Mobiles predicts that the phone will be the vest version of the Galaxy A22 5G, and its certification names in the Bluetooth Alliance are Galaxy Wide5 and Galaxy Buddy.
