Samsung recently released the Galaxy Z Flip 3 5G along with the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Watch 4/Classic, which is equipped with a 1.9-inch AMOLED external small screen that can display time, weather, music, notifications, etc.
According to the latest reports, XDA member CarudiBu has discovered a vulnerability that allows the small window of Galaxy Z Flip 3 to load custom widgets, thereby indirectly running the complete App.
The vulnerability can essentially open a GeckoView-based browser, allowing users to browse the web and add widgets. Therefore, based on this vulnerability, a WIP launcher can be added to run a complete App without root.
Users need to uninstall Samsung Health before starting the installation process and cannot access the on-screen keyboard.
