Google Assistant simplifies Voice Match settings with this new feature

Google continues its commitment to try to refine and refine the Google Assistant settings in order to simplify the user experience. It is not the first time that the Mountain View giant has been making small changes to the Assistant settings and, in this case, has focused its attention on Voice Match and Personal Results.

The update introduces a subdivision into tabs of the settings of these functions according to the type of device being used in order to act individually on each of them. When you open the Voice Match settings, two separate tabs appear that refer to your smartphone and other Google devices in your possession such as Chromecast, Nest Hub or Nest Mini.

The novelty of this new setting is that it will be possible, for each individual device, to disable Voice Match or train the Google Assistant to recognize your voice again. In the section referring to the smartphone, moreover, there is the possibility to activate or not the option that allows you to call up the Google Assistant when the screen is off or from any screen.

The Personal Results section, previously called Personalization, has also been redesigned in the same way, allowing the user to act on individual devices or on the smartphone, just like in the Voice Match settings. The update also adds the option to disable Personal Results simultaneously on all devices in your possession.
