Google offering users of its Google One service a new storage space plan

Google is offering users of its Google One service a new storage space plan that provides an intermediate point between its $10 2TB plan and the $50 monthly 10TB plan. The new 5TB plan costs US$25 per month (or US$250 per year) and provides the following features:

  • 5TB storage space
  • Google expert support
  • Can choose to add family
  • Additional membership benefits
  • Refund 10% of the fee in Gppg Store
  • Support VPN for Android phones

At the same price, if you plan to share 5TB with your family, Microsoft’s OneDrive plan may provide more things, especially if you use a Samsung phone, which integrates well with Microsoft’s ecosystem. For the same amount of storage, Microsoft provides 6TB, Skype and Office applications that are equally shared with the other 5 family members, all of which are only $99 per year or $9.99 per month.

Of course, if your work and life have penetrated into the Google ecosystem, you might consider buying this plan at 1.5 times the price. The new plan seems to be widely available from today.
