Apple released the next generation iPhone 13 and 13 Mini, prices from $699

iPhone 13 is official, the new generation of Apple smartphones was presented during the California Streaming event that we are following live from the Steve Jobs Theater, thus putting an end to the incredible amount of rumor that has accompanied us in recent months and finally allowing us to know all the technical and aesthetic aspects in detail.

There are two models, just like last year, so also Mini. Outwardly, the lines actually reflect the design of the iPhone 12, but there is no lack of news, from the reduced notch compared to the past to the photographic module that houses two sensors positioned diagonally.

Without forgetting the interior, where the beating heart of the new generation is kept. The processor is called A15 Bionic, built by Apple at TSMC with a 5nm production process. This translates into improved performance and lowers energy consumption – on paper – than in the past.

The cameras have been further implemented: on the iPhone 13 and 13 mini there are two sensors, both 12 MP, equipped with a new ISP, with Sensor-Shift Image Stabilization and Cinematic Mode.

  • 12MP wide angle: 1.7um sensor, captures 47% more light, f / 1.6 aperture, 26mm focal length, 7-element lens and 100% Focus Pixel
  • 12MP ultra wide angle: f / 2.4, 13mm focal length, 5 element lens, 120 ° FOV.
