Apple will hold the next conference of this year on October 12

In addition to the California Call autumn special event to be held today, Apple may also hold a second hardware conference in the second half of this year. Based on the promotional dates for the back-to-school season, some sources speculated that Apple may hold a second hardware conference on October 12.

Apple will end the back-to-school season promotion the day before the launch of its new products. For example, on September 15 last year, Apple announced that it would extend the back-to-school promotion to Monday, October 12, and then Apple announced that it would hold an event on October 13, which is one day after the end of the back-to-school season promotion.

This year, the back-to-school activities in the United States will end on Monday, September 27, but Apple is unlikely to hold two events in September. However, in Europe, the promotion ends on Monday, October 11, which may be more illustrative. This may indicate that Apple’s next event is on Tuesday, October 12th, assuming Apple’s usual practice in previous years.

It is not entirely clear whether Apple will hold two or three events this fall, which may affect the timing of the October event. Last year, Apple held an event for the first time in November to launch the first batch of M1 Macs, but Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman believes that Apple will hold two events this fall, the latter mainly for Macs and iPads.

In retrospect, in the past five years, Apple has held October events for three years.
