Google lists Samsung Galaxy S21 FE in the AR core support list

More than a month has passed since Samsung’s Unpacked conference in August ended. At this event, Samsung announced new foldable products, smart watches and new earplugs. It was also expected that Samsung would announce the Galaxy S21 FE (fan version), but this did not happen in the end.

Samsung has not yet admitted that it will bring a fan version (FE version) of the 2021 S series flagship, but Google has accidentally listed the device as Android deep API support, which can be seen on Google’s AR core support website.

This may mean that Samsung is preparing to release a fan version of the Galaxy S21, which provides a similar flagship experience with the Galaxy S21, but the price will be significantly reduced due to the savings in production costs and component differences.

Last week, Google confirmed that the Galaxy S21 FE will have two versions, including an Exynos version, which is believed to have a built-in Samsung Exynos 2100 processor, while the Qualcomm version is believed to use Snapdragon 888. Last month, Galaxy S21 FE was listed in Google’s Play Console.

Samsung’s Galaxy S21 FE is expected to have the same features as the flagship phone, including an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint scanner, IP68 waterproof and dustproof, high refresh rate screen, wireless charging, Samsung Pay, Wireless DeX and Dobly Atmos.

Samsung has not confirmed when the fan edition will arrive. We guess that it should arrive in time during the holiday shopping season. The best time frame may be around October, but this is just a guess.
