Regardless of whether the storage space is sufficient, some users have received a reminder of iPhone storage is close to saturation after upgrading to iOS 15, and users cannot rule out this problem. Some iPhone models reported this problem. Users tried to delete part of the data in the storage but failed to delete the information. Apple has not publicly acknowledged this error.

#iOS15 once updated says iPhone storage is almost full. I mean if 60+ GB free space is “almost full” 🤷🏾♂️ pic.twitter.com/2rxnRiFZzL

AppleInsider recommends that users affected by this issue wait for Apple to fix it. Those users who can’t wait can try a factory reset but must make sure that all photos, files, and important data are backed up in iCloud or in other ways. Don’t delete important files and photos to try to stop the error message. No matter what you delete, the information may still exist, so deleting personal files will be a waste.
Anyone else run into an iOS 15 bug that says “iPhone storage almost full” in Settings when there’s plenty of space available? My device has 20GB free and I can’t dismiss it. pic.twitter.com/fSQlkBuzA5

There are reports that there are other storage issues in iOS 15. An AppleInsider employee pointed out that their iPhone 12 Pro Max showed that about 11GB of 512GB was used, even though about 20GB of music was installed. The iPad Pro that foreign media used to write this report reported that although there is more than 300GB of data stored locally, the storage space used is zero.
