After a long, but perhaps very long … wait, the official Disney+ application for Windows 10 version 19041.0 and later is finally available in the Microsoft Store for download on compatible devices. A signal had already arrived during the presentation of the recent Surface Laptop Studio, as the alleged arrival date had been spoiled (almost) with precision.
If you advance to 1.45 minutes of the following clip, you will notice that, in addition to the ongoing playback of an episode of the What If … series, there is a message at the bottom indicating the date of October 5th. Well, the arrival of Disney + has apparently been brought forward by one day, since the application is already available.
