The news for the moment seems to concern exclusively iOS, but it is almost certain that later the function will also be extended to the version of the app for Android. We are still in an experimental phase, which should arrive with an upcoming beta: the global player for vocals intends to simplify listening to messages by always remaining visible at the top of the screen, even when exiting the chat. This way you can continue listening, pause or delete the message itself at any time.
As WABetaInfo explains this feature is very useful when you receive a long voice message. In this case, you can continue to send messages to other contacts while listening to the voice message. If the voicemail player is yet to be released in beta, the redesigned chat bubbles are already available on the iOS beta, version 2.21.200.11. In practice, the conversation bubbles now feature even smoother corners, in both the light and dark versions, and the dimensions also appear to have been slightly retouched – they now appear wider.
A small aesthetic variation also concerns the color of the bubbles: the light green variant goes from # E1F6CA to # E2FDD5, the dark one from # 295F60 to # 204F46. Small refinements demonstrate the care with which WhatsApp intends to renew its interface to make it more and more pleasant.
