WhatsApp adds a button to join ongoing group calls

After the distribution of the end-to-end encrypted backups, another novelty arrives for WhatsApp: it is now possible to join an ongoing call within a group chat through a new button placed on the conversation screen, without them being other steps are required.

This is not a revolutionary novelty, of course, but it remains an addition that allows you to speed up and make it easier to use chats shared with more people. Previously it was already possible to add yourself to an ongoing call, but you had to select the Calls tab and from there choose the one you wanted to join.

Now, as soon as you enter the discussion you can see if there is a call in progress and possibly join it, something that has already been happening for some time, for example on Skype. You can take a look at how it works in the video posted on Twitter.
