Apple finally launched the macOS version of TestFlight preview

As early as June of this year, at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC 2021), Apple disclosed the Mac version of TestFlight for the first time. Since then, the project has been in the testing phase. At first, we saw some signs of an upcoming launch in August. At that time, the developer reported that it was able to submit a test version of the macOS application to the App Store Connect through Xcode 13 beta. After a few months, we finally ushered in the macOS version of TestFlight preview.

As promised, TestFlight has now officially landed in the Mac App Store preview, which is the first time the company has introduced an application testing platform to macOS. Like the iOS/tvOS version that has been experienced for many years, TestFlight for Mac allows developers to create a test version of the software, and distribute and manage it through the TestFlight channel, which greatly simplifies the application prototyping process.
