The first batch of media ratings for Battlefield 2042 was released. There are currently 13 media ratings on MTC, and the average media score for the PC version of the game is 81 points. The well-known media GameSpot temporarily gave this work 8 points.
Advantage:
- The newly added experts brought many different attempts to the core gameplay.
- In-depth and extensible customization allows you to mix and match professional elements.
- The danger zone is an interesting attempt on the battle royale gameplay, bringing a smaller battlefield experience.
- The portal mode game type editor provides a lot of cool creative options.
- The ability to revisit the map and inherit the elements of past battlefield games brings a lot to the multiplayer mode.
Shortcoming:
- Some experts are not good at certain maps, limiting your options.
- The evaluation version encountered some screen bugs and server problems.
- It is not clear how the game will evolve through the instant service model.
