Microsoft recently released the Windows 11 Dev preview build 22504, and subsequently, Microsoft released a new Windows 11 Build 22504.1010 (KB5008697) for Dev channel insiders. The new build version does not bring anything new because it is a cumulative update, and the company is testing its service pipeline, as it often does. In fact, the last update like this was a week ago.
The update of these service pipelines is necessary to ensure that the build version is provided to users without any noteworthy issues or malfunctions. Therefore, in the press release, Microsoft only stated:
This update does not include anything new, and aims to test the service pipeline we have built in the development channel.
Therefore, all the bug fixes and improvements of the earlier Windows 11 Build 22504 version have been brought to the Dev channel. This version brings a revised Your Phone application, custom input method themes, personalized emoticons, etc.

Interestingly, although there are no new changes in this build version, a service test builds like this might break some features. For example, the previous Windows 10 Build 21292.1010 caused problems with the x64 emulator on ARM PCs.
