Android Auto finally started adding support for dual-SIM phones

At the request of users for many years, Google confirmed at the beginning of this year that Android Auto will add support for dual-SIM smartphones. Now the feature is finally launched to users. A Reddit user discovered over the weekend that Android Auto’s dual SIM card support is already running on their vehicle, but it has not yet been fully deployed.

The user who managed to get this feature up and running said that their application version was 7.1.614554 and they participated in the test program. The dual SIM card support in Android Auto will be mainly reflected in the phone application, where users can choose which SIM card to use when making a call. Previously, Android Auto only used the default SIM card when starting a call.
