CDPR: It’s too early to let Cyberpunk 2077 join XGP and other host subscription services

An earlier report said that Cyberpunk 2077 will join Microsoft’s XGP service, but CDPR officially denied the news. Now, CDPR also claims that it is still too early to let Cyberpunk 2077 join any hosting subscription service.

In the investor question and answer session on Monday, CDPR was asked whether it would consider introducing the game into subscription services such as XGP. President Adam KiciƄski responded: We are always considering any business opportunities, but this subscription model is suitable for a certain point in the product life cycle, so it will not be too early.

In addition, CDPR also revealed that the next-generation versions of Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3 are expected to be released on time. The next-generation version of these two games was originally scheduled to be released this year, but later the next-generation version of Cyberpunk 2077 was postponed to the first quarter of next year, and the next-generation version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was postponed to the second quarter of next year.
