The Paint application on Windows 11 now updated

Microsoft invited the Windows Insider project members of the Dev channel to test the new version of the Paint application for the Windows 11 system. In the new version of the application, the Edit Color and Resize and Tilt dialogs have gained a Windows 11 style design theme. The company also pointed out that other dialog boxes for various options will also receive similar updates.

The update log reads: “We have updated the edit Color’, ‘Resize and Tilt’ and other dialog boxes to match the new Windows 11 design style and to adapt to the new Paint application background.

The company also pointed out some additional improvements it has made. The changelog is given below.

  • Press the Shift key on a color swatch, and this color will now be selected as your secondary color.
  • Fixed the problem that the text box would move unexpectedly when using IME.
  • Fixed an issue where some dialog boxes could not be correctly localized in Hebrew, Dutch, Norwegian and other languages.
  • Improved support for screen readers.
