There is an outage with Snapchat. At the time of writing, many users report that they cannot connect to the app, nor can they send snaps and messages. The problem affects some of the Snapchat users.

More and more reports are pouring in from Snapchat users experiencing problems with the app. The number of reports on Allestoringen.nl is currently peaking and the problem seems to have started around 2:07 PM. Not every user is affected by the Snapchat outage, because here at the editors the service still works for some.

Users report that the app cannot connect to the servers and that causes problems with logging in, sending Snaps and messages. Snapchat has a fixed web page where you can check the server status and the Snapchat Support account on Twitter also does not allow us to see any information about the technical problems.
Since Snapchat isn’t sharing any information about the outage yet, we’re just guessing how long the bug will last. Snapchat suffered a major global outage in October. At the moment, the current disturbance seems to be playing out on a smaller scale.
