Adobe makes owners of four smartphones from Google and Samsung happy

One of the main reasons why so many people love the shots taken by Google Pixel smartphones is represented by the quality that the algorithms of the Mountain View giant are able to guarantee, so much so that the images can be shared immediately after the shot, without the need to make changes.

But it is also true that the possibility of working images in RAW format puts users in front of a wider variety of options and in the past few hours the Adobe team has decided to make it easier for those who use Google Pixel 6 and two. of Samsung’s flagship smartphones these operations on Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop.

Adobe improves support for some smartphones from Google and Samsung

According to what is learned from a page on the Adobe website dedicated to support, these are the smartphones for which RAW support has been added in Lightroom and Photoshop:

  • Google Pixel 6
  • Google Pixel 6 Pro
  • Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra
  • Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3

As for the two Google smartphones, the support includes three sensors (the front, the main rear and the ultra wide-angle one), for Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra it includes the two telephoto sensors and for Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 all three rear sensors ( the primary one, the telephoto lens and the ultra wide angle one).

To take advantage of the new features added by Adobe, owners of these smartphones must also have version 14.1 of the Camera Raw plug-in and at least version 5.1 of Lightroom or at least version 11.1 of Lightroom Classic.

Undoubtedly, users who have purchased these smartphones also (or above all) for their photographic skills will be happy to be able to rely on the new features made available to them by Adobe.
