New 60 second limit for Instagram Stories

According to a Turkish user on Twitter, Instagram is warning some users of the change. At the moment by recording or uploading a video longer than 15 seconds it will be divided into several different Stories, but with the introduction of the new function users will be able to record and upload videos in the Stories up to 60 seconds without having to divide them; the message returned in fact reads “Discover longer stories. Videos up to 60 seconds will no longer be segmented”.

It also seems that the well-known social network is working on a new interface for publishing Stories, which should allow you to mention other accounts or add the location to a post in a simpler and more intuitive way. It is not clear at the moment if and when Instagram will release the new features for all users, as at the moment there are few who can record and upload 60-second Stories in a single video.

However, users will continue to benefit from additional features over time, considering the ongoing struggle for improvement carried on by Instagram, TikTok and Snapchat.
