Halo Infinite: Co-op unlocked via a glitch but it’s dangerous!

One of the most anticipated elements of Halo Infinite is the ability to play the campaign in co-op. This feature has always been distinctive for the games in the series, and it is more than legitimate for fans to have high expectations, especially when considering the size of the campaign map.

However, since before the official launch, we knew that a highly anticipated mode by all lovers of the series would be missing: we are obviously talking about the co-op multiplayer campaign, an absence not just but which could already be present in some way.

We already know that Halo Infinite, despite the postponement and the undoubted great quality it oozes from every angle, still has a few bugs and glitches that 343 Industries is no doubt working on. Some are very troubling, like the one that risks erasing your saved data, while others are particularly useful. In fact, this is the case of a glitch that allows Xbox users to play the campaign in co-op.

It seems incredible, especially since neither Microsoft nor 343 Industries have revealed when the mode will be officially released, but one player has really succeeded, as you can see below, also illustrating the steps. First of all, Halo Infinite must be offline and you will never have to log in. Connect a second controller and log into an Xbox account, then start the campaign with the first controller. Once in the game, click start, back and then start on the second controller: this will bring up a second Master Chief on the screen, which in turn will be split in two.

In short, it seems that 343 Industries has missed this method to access the Halo Infinite campaign in co-op. Clearly, some features do not work, as well as the second player will not have a HUD or a correct display of the brightness. Also, you have to consider that this mode is not yet refined or officially released and could lead to problems. In fact, we already know that there is a risk that it can corrupt Halo Infinite’s save data, so be careful!
