Tesla will provide free charging services during off-peak hours in many parts of the US

Christmas in Western countries is approaching, and a large number of Americans will drive electric cars on their journey home. In order to ease the pressure on charging stations, Tesla announced that it will open free charging to supercharging stations in California and other regions of the United States during the daily off-peak hours during the holiday season.

Prior to this, Tesla had conducted off-peak free charging activities in California during Thanksgiving in November. Recently, the scope of activities has been extended to other states. The free charging time is: From December 23 to 26, before 10 am and after 7 pm, a free super fast charging service will be provided. A total of 76 charging stations participated.

At present, Tesla’s third-generation supercharging pile supports up to 250kW of charging power, and Model 3 can be charged for 15 minutes, which can supplement up to 250 kilometers of cruising range.
