Samsung delivered the latest Android version including the One UI update in late November. But now a mistake is upsetting the distribution. There is a brief stop that hopefully won’t take too long. 7 days after our report, all errors should be fixed, the update with Android 12 and One UI 4 is rolling out again. It depends on the current foldable and the Galaxy S21 series.
For the global variants of the Galaxy S21 family, the new release is tagged as G99xBXXS3BULC (G99xNKSS3BULC for the Korean models). On the other hand, the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and the Galaxy Z Fold 3 are now receiving new updates with the firmware version F711xxxS2BUL6 and F926xxxS1BUL6 respectively. The Android security patch level of these builds is December 2021.
The rollout of One UI 4 and Android 12 should continue soon
In addition, it is not necessarily the Samsung software to blame, but that of Google. Samsung is currently waiting for Google to fix the bug on its own site and give it the green light. Then the go-ahead should be given immediately so that Android 12 and One UI 4 can roll out again for all eligible Samsung customers. I don’t think that waiting users have to be very patient here. Maybe just a few days.
