Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is surprisingly shown in a leaked preview video

There are so many leaks and hands-on videos released in the last couple of months that someone has started wondering if Samsung still has any cards to play for its Galaxy S21 FE. Numerous online videos also surfaced last week showing the device, some of which have even reviewed it. Apparently, thank you to a Reddit user, the leak isn’t over and could hold some bitter surprises.

Will Samsung Galaxy S21 FE have Android 11 as standard?

Reddit user UnknowWon introduced himself as the owner of a Galaxy S21 FE and announced the launch of an improvised AMA (Ask Me Anything). To dispel any doubts, the user shared a detailed photo of the box and the phone, powered by a Snapdragon 888 chipset.

Some of his answers confirmed what was already circulating on the net lately such as 6 GB of RAM for the basic version, a 4500 mAh battery , while the micro SD slot, the headphone jack and a 120 Hz display are absent. (There doesn’t appear to be support for adaptive refresh rate).

The most surprising news, however, is undoubtedly the Android version installed. The Redditors Galaxy S21 FE appears to run Android 11 with One UI 3.1 , instead of Android 12 . Since other videos showed the device with the latest version of the green robot on board, we think that it could be one of the first units put into production and therefore still mounts an old firmware. If this were the case then, we will see the release on the market of the device with Android 12 and Samsung’s One UI 4.0 interface on board , but there is no absolute certainty.

The smartphone should be presented a few days before the S22 series, but there is still no information on the price and, at this point, not even on the software version with which it will be marketed. What do you think about it? Are you waiting for this version of the S21 or are you waiting for the new top of the range?
