According to the latest news from Mark Gurman, Apple will make major design changes to certain versions of the iPhone 14 series. Gurman said that Apple will introduce a perforated screen instead of a bang design, which can punch a compact hole for the front camera, thereby eliminating the need for bangs.

At present, Face ID will not be abandoned so quickly, so the perforated screen means that True Depth will adopt a new alternative, but Apple can hide it out of sight. In addition, other rumors about the iPhone 14 include: elimination of the rear camera bump, the main camera resolution has also jumped from 12MP to a higher number, such as 48MP; the device may use a titanium case; there is even no SIM card slot.

Although not an exclusive rumor, Gurman also said that the iPhone SE will usher in a major update, and Apple’s entry-level iPhone will also support 5G network connections. It is reported that Apple will release a cheap version of iPhone (SE) in March to April next year.
