Xiaomi released the Surging C1 image processor (ISP) together with the MIX FOLD folding screen phone last year, which can process photos faster and better. According to the latest report, the Xiaomi Mi MIX 5 Pro (L1) will be equipped with the next-generation Surging C2 chip, while the basic Xiaomi Mi MIX 5 (L1A) will not.
According to the camera-related code, the Mi MIX 5 Pro has the same MIPISEL characters as the MIX FOLD and the unreleased MIX FLIP. The machine will be equipped with its own next-generation surging chip.
The previously released Surging C1 has a dual filter configuration, which can realize parallel processing of high and low-frequency signals, and the signal processing efficiency is increased by 100%. With the self-developed algorithm, the 3A (AF, AWB, AE) performance of the image is greatly improved.
It is reported that Xiaomi MIX 5 series models will be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 (SM8450) chip, the basic version uses 50+48+48 MP (0.5X, 1X, 5X) rear triple camera, supports 12x video, 120x 2x photo zoom, the front is a 48 MP lens (possibly using CUP technology), using a new generation of under-screen fingerprint technology; Pro is expected to be equipped with a periscope telephoto lens, support 100x zoom, and use a 100-watt fast-charging large battery.
