Xiaomi and OPPO: How will the 200W charging arrive on the market?

Taking Xiaomi’s situation first, which is the least complex one, the brand already has a technology presented and developed in all respects but does not yet have a smartphone that can support this power. Obviously, all the clues lead to the alleged Xiaomi 12 Ultra or MIX 5, but it is necessary to understand which of the two could bring the greatest benefits to the market.

This year the 120W is increasing visibly, especially for the Beijing-based company, but if it wants to be the “first”, sooner or later it will have to deal with the devices. Furthermore, who knows that we will not immediately see a successor of the Surge P1 dedicated to this use.

For OPPO, on the other hand, the situation is certainly more nebulous. This is because the Green Factory will not bring the 200W to Find X5 and X5 Pro but it seems they are destined for 80W as already seen on the OnePlus 10 Pro. Unless, of course, you pull a third model (as rumored) of the series out of the cylinder and then the Find X5 Pro model then becomes in effect the one that will introduce this charging technology for the company.

Doubts remain, but are the refills running faster and faster? And you, are you ready to have smartphones ready in 5 minutes, or do you still prefer to look at a sort of “preservation” of the battery, despite the fact that Xiaomi itself had reassured everyone?
