The fine print on the S22 series pre-order registration page reads: Pre-order the latest Galaxy devices on Samsung.com or the Samsung App from Jan 21-22, 2022 at 11:59 pm EST, and take stock on 2/9/22 to 2/24/22 Get a $50 Samsung Gift Certificate when you pre-order the latest Galaxy device.
This suggests that pre-orders for the Galaxy S22 will begin on February 9. Or, to put it another way, the Galaxy S22’s release date could be February 9. Also, the small print indicates that the Galaxy S22’s release date will be February 25, which is in line with recent leaks.
If the information is accurate, Samsung will host the Galaxy S22 Unpacked press conference on February 9 at 10 a.m. ET. However, the “reserved” and “pre-order” dates must be for different markets outside the US. Separately, Evan Blass tweeted a picture of the Galaxy S22 Unpacked event. As you can see below, the same February 9 date appears.
