Overlay scroll bar in Windows 11 system, the scroll bar only appears when you hover and disappears when you remove the mouse. Microsoft has been testing the “Overlay Scrollbars” scrollbar feature on the Chromium-based Edge browser as early as last August; in a new patch appearing on Chromium Gerrit this week, a Microsoft engineer has confirmed that the feature is very useful. Will start testing in Chrome soon.
That said, Chrome for Windows will implement Overlay-style scrollbars in the coming weeks. And other Chromium-based browsers can theoretically implement Overlay scroll bars.
