macOS 12.3 already includes frameworks and daemons that support UWB technology, similar to those found on iOS devices. Apple first offered ultra-wideband technology, also known as the U1 chip, on the iPhone 11 released in 2019, and later expanded to the Apple Watch, HomePod mini and AirTags.
