Last night Samsung officially released the Galaxy Tab S8 series of tablets. In addition to the stronger configuration, the body of the new tablet is also stronger than the previous generation.
You may recall that the body of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Z Fold 3 uses a material called “Armor Aluminum”, and it has been confirmed by Samsung that the foldable phone uses the armor aluminum solution. The scheme is also adopted by the Galaxy S22 and Tab S8 series.
Although the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra has the narrowest bezels yet, that shouldn’t detract from the rigidity of its construction. Due to the use of armored aluminum, Samsung claims that the Galaxy Tab S8 series is 40% less likely to bend than the Galaxy Tab S7.
No users have reported bending issues on the Galaxy Tab S7 at this time, but since the tablet is likely to deform from being seated on the butt, the use of new stronger materials is definitely a good thing, if you accidentally sit On the Galaxy Tab S8, it’s about 40% less likely to bend.
